English Tasks

Below is a brochure in English with the information and features of my training program “Software Analysis and Development”. In it I present an initial message, basic information about the program and my expectations:

Medellin is the capital of the mountainous province of Antioquia in Colombia. It is nicknamed the “City of Eternal Spring” for its mild climate and hosts the famous annual Flower Fair. The modern Metrocable connects the city with surrounding neighborhoods and overlooks the Aburrá Valley below. Sculptures by Fernando Botero decorate the Plaza Botero in the city center, while the Museo de Antioquia displays more works by the Colombian artist.

Introduction: Learning English involves not only understanding grammar but also expanding your vocabulary. Two important areas to focus on are reported speech and crime and punishment vocabulary. Together, these elements can help you communicate more effectively, especially when discussing news, legal matters, or storytelling. With so much content available, it’s more important than ever to develop critical thinking and media literacy skills. These skills help us discern fact from fiction, identify biases, and make informed decisions. What is Critical Thinking? Critical thinking involves analyzing and evaluating information before accepting it as truth. It requires asking questions, seeking evidence, and considering multiple perspectives. It’s about being curious and skeptical, rather than just accepting information at face value.
